UK SPORT DIVING MEDICAL COMMITTEE

These guidelines have been made generally available in order that referring doctors, medical referees and divers can readily refer to them for guidance. They are not to be interpreted rigidly but in the light of the individual divers circumstances. Where these guidelines are not sufficient to resolve a problem, the UK Sport Diving Medical Committee, which includes the medical advisor to the SSAC, SAA and the BSAC medical committee, should be consulted.
