• Use generic rather than trade names for drugs (eg lisinopril rather than zestril)
• Try single keyword searches first (eg coronary, rather than coronary artery disease)
• Do not use punctuation (eg ACE inhibitor, rather than ACE-inhibitor)
• Use organ system searches (eg respiratory, or cardiac) if the specific disease does not appear to be listed
• The search is not case sensitive
